Article R4424-16 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

National companies which carry out an industrial or service activity in Corsica, either directly or through a subsidiary, appoint a delegate to the committee in which representatives of the island’s economic sectors participate, without voting rights.

Other national companies may be asked to appoint a representative depending on the committee’s agenda.

An order of the Prime Minister establishes the list of national companies, mentioned in the first paragraph of this article.

Les sociétés nationales qui exercent en Corse, directement ou à travers une filiale, une activité industrielle ou de service désignent un délégué au comité auquel participent, sans voix délibérative, des représentants des secteurs économiques de l’île.

Les autres sociétés nationales peuvent être appelées à désigner un représentant en fonction de l’ordre du jour du comité.

Un arrêté du Premier ministre établit la liste des sociétés nationales, mentionnées au premier alinéa du présent article.
