National companies which carry out an industrial or service activity in Corsica, either directly or through a subsidiary, appoint a delegate to the committee in which representatives of the island’s economic sectors participate, without voting rights. Other national companies may be asked to appoint a representative depending on the committee’s agenda. The President of the Corsican Executive Council, or his representative, may take part in the work of the committee in an advisory capacity.

The secretariat of the committee is provided by the minister responsible for regional planning.

A local committee is set up, responsible for preparing the work of the coordination committee for industrial development, the composition of which is decided by the Corsican Prefect.
