The delegate facilitates the coordination of State and local authority actions carried out in the context of regional cooperation in the Antilles-Guyane zone.

He contributes to the dissemination of information relating to actions carried out in this zone.

It draws up, for the attention of the ministers, prefects and presidents of the departmental and regional councils concerned, as well as the presidents of the assemblies of French Guiana and Martinique, the president of the executive council of Martinique and the presidents of the territorial councils of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, an annual report on the assessment and evaluation of regional cooperation actions involving the French departments of America and makes any proposals aimed at developing these.

Le délégué facilite la coordination des actions de l’Etat et des collectivités territoriales menées au titre de la coopération régionale dans la zone Antilles-Guyane.

Il contribue à la diffusion de l’information relative aux actions menées dans cette zone.

Il établit, à l’attention des ministres, des préfets et des présidents des conseils départementaux et régionaux concernés, ainsi que des présidents des assemblées de Guyane et de Martinique, du président du conseil exécutif de Martinique et des présidents des conseils territoriaux de Saint-Barthélemy et de Saint-Martin, un rapport annuel sur le bilan et l’évaluation des actions de coopération régionale intéressant les départements français d’Amérique et fait toutes propositions tendant à développer celles-ci.
