Article R4437-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For the application to Mayotte of the provisions of Part Four of this Code:

1° The reference to the region or overseas region is replaced by the reference to the Department of Mayotte;

2° The reference to the regional council is replaced by the reference to the general council;

3° The reference to the president of the regional council is replaced by the reference to the president of the general council;

4° The reference to the regional economic, social and environmental council is replaced by the reference to the Mayotte economic, social and environmental council;

5° The reference to the president of the regional economic, social and environmental council is replaced by the reference to the president of the Mayotte economic, social and environmental council;

6° The reference to the council for culture, education and the environment in each region is replaced by the reference to the council for culture, education and the environment in Mayotte;

7° The reference to the president of the council for culture, education and the environment in each region is replaced by the reference to the president of the council for culture, education and the environment in Mayotte.

Pour l’application à Mayotte des dispositions de la quatrième partie du présent code :
