Article R4532-3 of the French Labour Code

The prior declaration is sent to the labour inspector and to the bodies mentioned in article L. 4532-1 with territorial jurisdiction over the location of the operation.

It shall be sent on the date of submission of the application for planning permission where this is required or, where it is not required, at least thirty days before the actual start of the work.

Article R4532-3

La déclaration préalable est adressée à l’agent de contrôle de l’inspection du travail et aux organismes mentionnés à l’article L. 4532-1 territorialement compétents au lieu de l’opération.

Elle est adressée à la date de dépôt de la demande de permis de construire lorsque celui-ci est requis ou, lorsque celui-ci n’est pas requis, au moins trente jours avant le début effectif des travaux.
