Article R4532-6 of the French Labour Code

In order to ensure that the coordinator has the authority and resources needed to carry out his duties properly, the project owner shall, from the preliminary design stage, provide for cooperation between the various parties involved in the construction process and the coordinator.
The practical details of this cooperation are set out in a document attached to the contracts signed with the various parties involved.

Afin notamment d’assurer au coordonnateur l’autorité et les moyens nécessaires au bon déroulement de sa mission, le maître d’ouvrage prévoit, dès les études d’avant-projet de l’ouvrage, la coopération entre les différents intervenants dans l’acte de construire et le coordonnateur.
Les modalités pratiques de cette coopération font l’objet d’un document joint aux contrats conclus avec les différents intervenants.
