Article R4623-31-1 of the French Labour Code

The specific occupational health training provided for in Article L. 4623-10 is acquired by proving :

1° A training course comprising a minimum of 240 hours of theoretical instruction ;

2° 105 hours of professional practice in occupational health.

This training is provided by a public establishment of a scientific, cultural and professional nature or by a training organisation certified under the conditions laid down in article L. 6316-1 of the Labour Code, which attests to its validation.

These establishments and organisations take account, where appropriate, of the candidate’s occupational health training and professional experience in order to exempt him/her from completing all or part of the training course referred to in 1° or the work placement referred to in 2°.

La formation spécifique en santé au travail prévue à l’article L. 4623-10 est acquise par la justification :

1° D’un parcours de formation d’un minimum de 240 heures d’enseignements théoriques ;

2° D’un stage de 105 heures de pratique professionnelle en santé au travail.

Cette formation est assurée par un établissement public à caractère scientifique, culturel et professionnel ou par un organisme de formation certifié dans les conditions prévues par l’article L. 6316-1 du code du travail, qui atteste de sa validation.

Ces établissements et organismes tiennent compte, le cas échéant, des formations en santé au travail et de l’expérience professionnelle du candidat pour le dispenser d’effectuer tout ou partie du parcours de formation mentionné au 1° ou du stage mentionné au 2°.
