Article R4624-19 of the French Labour Code

Any woman who is pregnant, has recently given birth or is breastfeeding shall, if she so wishes, be referred to the occupational physician without delay, in accordance with the protocol referred to in Article L. 4624-1. The purpose of this new visit, carried out by the occupational physician, is in particular to propose, if necessary, adaptations to the workstation or assignment to other workstations.

Toute femme enceinte, venant d’accoucher ou allaitante est, à tout moment si elle le souhaite, orientée sans délai vers le médecin du travail dans le respect du protocole mentionné à l’article L. 4624-1. Cette nouvelle visite, effectuée par le médecin du travail, a notamment pour objet de proposer, si elles sont nécessaires, des adaptations du poste ou l’affectation à d’autres postes.
