Article R4722-5 of the French Labour Code

The labour inspection officer referred to in Article L. 8112-1 may ask the employer to have the conformity of the work equipment referred to in Article L. 4321-1 with the provisions applicable to it verified by an accredited body.

It shall set the time limit within which this body must be contacted.

L’agent de contrôle de l’inspection du travail mentionné à l’article L. 8112-1 peut demander à l’employeur de faire vérifier, par un organisme accrédité, la conformité des équipements de travail mentionnés à l’article L. 4321-1 avec les dispositions qui leur sont applicables.

Il fixe le délai dans lequel cet organisme doit être saisi.
