When, due to its value, its nature or the insufficient quantity of product, the goods cannot be sampled in several samples but only in one sample, and the counter-expertise can be carried out on this sample, it shall be placed in its entirety under seal.
As soon as the analysis or test permits, the goods or parts thereof intended for the expert examination referred to in Article L. 512-42 shall be placed under seal and provided with a label by the State laboratory bearing the following indications:
1° Sample identification number ;
2° Number assigned by the laboratory;
> and
3° Surname, first names and signature of the analyst.
The sealed sample is kept by the state laboratory.
