Article R512-37 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Should the conciliation procedure defined in the general regulations provided for in Article R. 512-39 fail , any dispute shall be referred to a special commission made up of two representatives of the central body of savings banks and popular banks, two representatives of the Société centrale du crédit maritime mutuel, a representative of the Minister responsible for maritime fisheries and the Government Commissioner to the central body of the crédit maritime mutuel. This committee draws up a memorandum of understanding which is submitted to the governing bodies of the institutions concerned for approval.

En cas d’échec de la procédure de conciliation définie au règlement général prévu à l’article R. 512-39, tout litige est porté devant une commission spéciale composée de deux représentants de l’organe central des caisses d’épargne et des banques populaires, de deux représentants de la Société centrale du crédit maritime mutuel, d’un représentant du ministre chargé des pêches maritimes et du commissaire du Gouvernement auprès de l’organe central du crédit maritime mutuel. Cette commission élabore un protocole d’accord soumis à l’approbation des organes délibérants des établissements concernés.
