Article R512-40 of the French Consumer Code

The reports describe the visit and record the findings. They are drawn up immediately. They include an inventory of the items and documents seized.
These reports are signed by the authorised agents, by the judicial police officer responsible for attending the operations and, as appropriate, by the occupier of the premises, his representative or the two witnesses required in accordance with article L. 512-57.

Les procès-verbaux relatent le déroulement de la visite et consignent les constatations effectuées. Ils sont dressés sur-le-champ. Ils comportent l’inventaire des pièces et documents saisis.
Ces procès-verbaux sont signés par les agents habilités, par l’officier de police judiciaire chargé d’assister aux opérations ainsi que, selon le cas, par l’occupant des lieux, son représentant ou les deux témoins requis conformément à l’article L. 512-57.
