Article R512-52 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The number of seats to be filled, which may not exceed three, is determined for each Caisse d’Epargne et de Prévoyance on the basis of the total amount of shares in the affiliated local savings companies held by all the local authorities and public inter-municipal cooperation bodies with their own tax status.

If this amount is less than 10% of the maximum amount that may be held by local authorities and public inter-municipal cooperation bodies with their own tax status, in application of the ceiling set in article L. 512-93, they have a single seat.

If this amount is between 10% and 50% of the maximum amount, they have two seats.

If this amount is greater than 50% of the maximum, they have three seats.

The number of seats to be filled is set four months before the date of renewal of the Guidance and Supervisory Boards.

Le nombre de sièges à pourvoir, qui ne peut être supérieur à trois, est déterminé pour chaque caisse d’épargne et de prévoyance en fonction du montant total des parts sociales des sociétés locales d’épargne affiliées détenues par l’ensemble des collectivités territoriales et des établissements publics de coopération intercommunale à fiscalité propre.

Si ce montant est inférieur à 10 % du montant maximal que peuvent détenir des collectivités territoriales et des établissements publics de coopération intercommunale à fiscalité propre, en application du plafond fixé à l’article L. 512-93, elles disposent d’un seul siège.

Si ce montant est compris entre 10 % et 50 % du montant maximal, elles disposent de deux sièges.

Si ce montant est supérieur à 50 % du montant maximal, elles disposent de trois sièges.

Le nombre de sièges à pourvoir est fixé quatre mois avant la date de renouvellement des conseils d’orientation et de surveillance.
