Article R521-19 of the French Commercial code

An application for cancellation of registration shall be made to the registrar who made the initial registration, even if the place of registration, the registered office, the principal place of business, the place where the business is carried on or the address of the company fixed at the dwelling premises, or the personal domicile is moved outside the jurisdiction of the court to which the registrar competent at the time of the initial registration is answerable.

The application for cancellation shall be made by the applicant by handing in or sending by post or electronic means a form to the competent registrar.

When the form is drawn up on paper, two copies are required. It shall contain the request for cancellation as well as the date of the initial registration and its serial number.
The procedures for drawing up the form are laid down by decree.

La demande de radiation d’inscription est formée auprès du greffier qui a procédé à l’inscription initiale même en cas de déplacement du lieu d’immatriculation, du siège, de l’établissement principal, du lieu d’exercice de l’activité ou l’adresse de l’entreprise fixée au local d’habitation, ou du domicile personnel hors du ressort du tribunal dont dépend le greffier compétent au moment de l’inscription initiale.


La demande de radiation est effectuée par le requérant par remise ou transmission par voie postale ou électronique d’un bordereau au greffier compétent. Lorsqu’il est établi sous format papier il est dressé en deux exemplaires. Y figurent la demande de radiation ainsi que la date de l’inscription initiale et son numéro d’ordre.


Les modalités d’établissement du bordereau sont fixées par arrêté.
