Article R5211-46 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

As soon as the counting of the votes in each commune is complete, the minutes, approved and signed, are taken by two members of the polling station to the polling station constituted as a centralising office which has been designated by the deliberative body of the public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation. This centralising office takes a general count of the votes.

The results for each commune and the accompanying documents may not be altered.

A summary report is drawn up in duplicate by the centralising office in the presence of the voters.

The results are publicly recorded by the president of the centralising office. They are displayed at the headquarters of the public establishment of inter-municipal cooperation and sent for display to the mayors of its member communes.

They are communicated by the president of the public establishment of inter-municipal cooperation to the members of the deliberating body for deliberation at its next meeting.

Dès la fin du dépouillement du scrutin dans chaque commune les procès-verbaux, arrêtés et signés, sont portés par deux membres du bureau de vote au bureau de vote constitué en bureau centralisateur qui a été désigné par l’organe délibérant de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale. Ce bureau centralisateur fait le recensement général des votes.

Les résultats de chaque commune et les pièces annexes ne peuvent être modifiés.

Un procès-verbal récapitulatif est établi en double exemplaire par le bureau centralisateur en présence des électeurs.

Les résultats sont constatés publiquement par le président du bureau centralisateur. Ils sont affichés au siège de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale et transmis pour affichage aux maires des communes membres de celui-ci.

Ils sont communiqués par le président de l’établissement public de coopération intercommunale aux membres de l’organe délibérant aux fins de délibération à la plus proche séance de celui-ci.
