Article R526-15 of the French Commercial code

Individual entrepreneurs with limited liability who are not required to register in the Trade and Companies Register, in the National Register of Companies as a company in the trades and crafts sector or in the Special Register of Commercial Agents make, through the intermediary of the single body mentioned in article R. 123-1, the declaration of assignment mentioned in article L. 526-7 for entry in the special register held at the registry of the commercial court or the judicial court with commercial jurisdiction within whose jurisdiction the address of their main establishment is located or, in the absence of an establishment, the address of the residential premises where the business is based.

In the departments of Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin and Moselle, the special register referred to in the previous paragraph is kept for the extent of the jurisdiction of each judicial court at the registry of the judicial courts of Colmar, Metz, Mulhouse, Sarreguemines, Saverne, Strasbourg and Thionville.

Les entrepreneurs individuels à responsabilité limitée qui ne sont pas tenus de s’immatriculer au registre du commerce et des sociétés, au Registre national des entreprises en tant qu’entreprise du secteur des métiers et de l’artisanat ou au registre spécial des agents commerciaux effectuent, par l’intermédiaire de l’organisme unique mentionné à l’article R. 123-1, la déclaration d’affectation mentionnée à l’article L. 526-7 pour inscription au registre spécial tenu au greffe du tribunal de commerce ou du tribunal judiciaire statuant commercialement dans le ressort duquel se trouve l’adresse de leur établissement principal ou à défaut d’établissement l’adresse du local d’habitation où l’entreprise est fixée.

Dans les départements du Bas-Rhin, du Haut-Rhin et de la Moselle, le registre spécial mentionné à l’alinéa précédent est tenu pour l’étendue du ressort de chaque tribunal judiciaire au greffe des tribunaux judiciaires de Colmar, Metz, Mulhouse, Sarreguemines, Saverne, Strasbourg et Thionville.
