Article R532-18 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Where an investment services provider referred to inArticle L. 532-18 intends to use a tied agent, within the meaning ofArticle L. 545-1, established in its home country, the identity of that agent shall be published in the single register referred to inArticle L. 546-1. The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution informs the body referred to in I ofarticle L. 512-1 of the French Insurance Code so that it can proceed with this publication.

Lorsqu’un prestataire de services d’investissement mentionné à l’article L. 532-18 entend recourir à un agent lié, au sens de l’article L. 545-1, établi dans son Etat d’origine, l’identité de cet agent est publiée sur le registre unique mentionné à l’article L. 546-1. L’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution informe l’organisme mentionné au I de l’article L. 512-1 du code des assurances afin qu’il procède à cette publication.
