Article R5423-1 of the French Labour Code

In order to benefit from the specific solidarity allowance, the people mentioned in article L. 5423-1 :
1° Must have been in paid employment for five years in the ten years preceding the end of the employment contract from which their rights to insurance benefits were opened. In the case of people who have interrupted their salaried activity to bring up a child, this period is reduced, up to a limit of three years, by one year per dependent child or child brought up under the conditions laid down in Article R. 342-2 of the Social Security Code ;
2° Are actually looking for work within the meaning of Article L. 5421-3, subject to the provisions of article R. 5421-1;
3° Provide evidence, at the date of application, of monthly resources below a ceiling corresponding to 70 times the daily amount of the allowance for a single person and 110 times the same amount for a couple.

Article R5423-1

Pour bénéficier de l’allocation de solidarité spécifique, les personnes mentionnées à l’article L. 5423-1 :
1° Justifient de cinq ans d’activité salariée dans les dix ans précédant la fin du contrat de travail à partir de laquelle ont été ouverts leurs droits aux allocations d’assurance. En ce qui concerne les personnes ayant interrompu leur activité salariée pour élever un enfant, cette durée est réduite, dans la limite de trois ans, d’un an par enfant à charge ou élevé dans les conditions fixées à l’article R. 342-2 du code de la sécurité sociale ;
2° Sont effectivement à la recherche d’un emploi au sens de l’article L. 5421-3, sous réserve des dispositions de l’article R. 5421-1 ;
3° Justifient, à la date de la demande, de ressources mensuelles inférieures à un plafond correspondant à 70 fois le montant journalier de l’allocation pour une personne seule et 110 fois le même montant pour un couple.
