I.-The home hospital care authorisation includes one or more of the following references:
1° “base”;
2° “rehabilitation”;
3° “ante- and post-partum”;
4° “children under the age of three”.
A home hospitalisation authorisation containing one of the terms provided for in 2°, 3° or 4° may only be granted if the holder has a home hospitalisation authorisation containing the term “base” or obtains such an authorisation at the same time.
II.-Only holders of a “children under three years of age” authorisation are authorised to provide care for children under three years of age, subject to the provisions of 1° and 2° below:
1° Children requiring palliative or end-of-life care may be cared for by facilities holding a “basic” authorisation only. For this type of care, the holder of the home hospital care authorisation with the “base” designation will seek the expertise of a home hospital care facility holding an authorisation with the “children under three” designation or of a regional palliative care resource team;
2° Newborn babies whose mother is receiving post-partum care from a facility holding a home hospital care authorisation with the “ante and post-partum” mention may be cared for within the same facility.
