Article R6123-165 of the French Public Health Code

The interventional radiology activity referred to in 21° of article R. 6122-25 includes all medical procedures for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes performed with medical imaging guidance and control by percutaneous, transorificial, transparietal or intraluminal access, involving one or more targets that are inaccessible under satisfactory quality and safety conditions without the use of an imaging guidance device, with the exception of procedures relating to the activities referred to in 11° and 13° of the same article.

L’activité de radiologie interventionnelle mentionnée au 21° de l’article R. 6122-25 comprend l’ensemble des actes médicaux à but diagnostique ou thérapeutique réalisés avec guidage et contrôle de l’imagerie médicale par accès percutané, transorificiel, transpariétal ou intraluminal, portant sur une ou plusieurs cibles inaccessibles dans des conditions de qualité et de sécurité satisfaisantes sans utiliser un moyen de guidage par imagerie, à l’exception des actes relevant des activités mentionnées aux 11° et 13° du même article.
