I. – The holder of the authorisation for category A has access to a continuous monitoring unit on site or by agreement, under conditions that allow the patient to be cared for within a timeframe that is compatible with the imperatives of safe care.
II. – The holder of the authorisation for category B has :
1° On site, a continuous monitoring unit ;
2° On-site or by agreement, in accordance with arrangements enabling the patient to be cared for within timescales compatible with the imperatives of care safety, access to a multi-purpose intensive care unit or a resuscitation unit.
III. – The holder of the authorisation for category C has :
1° On site, a continuous monitoring unit ;
2° On site or by agreement, in accordance with arrangements enabling the patient to be cared for within timescales compatible with the imperatives of care safety, access to a structure authorised for surgery as well as a multi-purpose intensive care unit or a resuscitation unit.
IV. – The holder of the authorisation for category D has :
1° On site, a continuous monitoring unit and an intensive care unit ;
2° On-site or by agreement, in accordance with arrangements enabling the patient to be cared for within timescales compatible with the imperatives of care safety, access to a structure authorised for surgery.
V. – For endovascular therapeutic procedures involving the thoracic aorta, the authorisation holder has a cardiac surgery unit and an intensive care unit on site.
