Article R6123-92-2 of the French Public Health Code

Authorisation for cancer treatment by surgical oncology may only be granted if the applicant has an organisation, either on site or by means of an agreement, enabling it to guarantee:

1° The performance of anatomopathology examinations, if necessary extemporaneously;

2° Post-operative scheduled or unscheduled medical imaging examinations enabling any early complications of the treatment to be anticipated and managed;

3° Management of any complications arising from surgical treatment, including emergency treatment.

L’autorisation de traitement du cancer par chirurgie oncologique ne peut être accordée que si le demandeur dispose d’une organisation, sur place ou par voie de convention, lui permettant de garantir :


1° La réalisation des examens d’anatomopathologie si nécessaire en extemporané ;


2° Les examens d’imagerie médicale post-opératoires programmés ou non programmés permettant d’anticiper et de gérer les éventuelles complications précoces du traitement ;


3° La gestion des complications éventuelles du traitement chirurgical y compris en urgence.
