Article R6142-15 of the French Public Health Code

The university hospital centre, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the agreement, is responsible for repairing any damage of any kind caused in the course of hospital activities to the training and research units concerned and to their students and staff.

It may take out insurance to cover this risk.

Le centre hospitalier universitaire, selon les modalités déterminées par la convention, supporte la réparation des dommages de toute nature causés à l’occasion des activités hospitalières aux unités de formation et de recherche concernées ainsi qu’aux étudiants et aux personnels de celles-ci.

Il a la faculté de contracter une assurance pour la couverture de ce risque.
