Article R623-14 of the French Consumer Code

Consumers who are members of the group and who have not expressed their acceptance within the period and in the manner set by the judge pursuant to the provisions of article L. 623-15 and under the conditions set out in article R. 623-13 are no longer eligible to claim their compensation under the group action and are not represented by the claimant association.

Article R623-14

Les consommateurs membres du groupe qui n’ont pas exprimé leur acceptation dans le délai et selon les modalités fixés par le juge en application des dispositions de l’article L. 623-15 et dans les conditions prévues par l’article R. 623-13 ne sont plus recevables à demander leur indemnisation dans le cadre de l’action de groupe et ne sont pas représentés par l’association requérante.
