Article R623-26 of the French Consumer Code

Claims for compensation which have not been granted by the professional shall be brought before the judicial court, with a view to the hearing set pursuant to the provisions of Article R. 623-8, in the form laid down for incidental claims and within the time limit set by the judge for referring the matter to him, in accordance with Article L. 623-11.

Les demandes d’indemnisation auxquelles le professionnel n’a pas fait droit sont portées devant le tribunal judiciaire, en vue de l’audience fixée en application des dispositions de l’article R. 623-8, dans les formes prévues pour les demandes incidentes et dans le délai fixé par le juge pour le saisir, conformément à l’article L. 623-11.
