Article R6323-11-1 of the French Labour Code

If the employee has a fixed-term contract, he may apply to the relevant regional inter-professional joint committee for a vocational transition project during the term of his employment contract. The employer’s prior agreement is required if the employee wishes to take all or part of the corresponding training course during working hours.

Lorsque le salarié est titulaire d’un contrat à durée déterminée, il peut adresser une demande de prise en charge d’un projet de transition professionnelle à la commission paritaire interprofessionnelle régionale compétente au cours de l’exécution de son contrat de travail. L’accord préalable de l’employeur est requis lorsque le salarié souhaite suivre l’action de formation correspondante pour tout ou partie pendant son temps de travail.
