Article R6341-51 of the French Labour Code

In the case of training courses involving a distance from the trainee’s usual place of residence, the trainees concerned are entitled, in order to enable them to return periodically, to reimbursement of their expenses incurred under the following conditions:

1° Trainees under the age of eighteen are entitled, in order to travel to their usual place of residence and provided that the distance to be covered is greater than twenty-five kilometres, to reimbursement of three quarters of the transport costs incurred for one journey per month;

2° Other trainees are entitled, in order to travel to their usual place of residence and provided that the distance to be covered is greater than twenty-five kilometres, to reimbursement in full of the transport costs incurred for one journey per quarter if the duration of the traineeship exceeds three months.

Dans le cas des stages comportant un éloignement du domicile habituel du stagiaire, les stagiaires concernés ont droit, pour leur permettre de rentrer périodiquement, au remboursement de leurs frais engagés dans les conditions suivantes :

1° Les stagiaires âgés de moins de dix-huit ans ont droit, pour se rendre à leur domicile habituel et à condition que la distance à parcourir soit supérieure à vingt-cinq kilomètres, au remboursement des trois quarts des frais de transport exposés à raison d’un voyage mensuel ;

2° Les autres stagiaires ont droit, pour se rendre à leur domicile habituel et à condition que la distance à parcourir soit supérieure à vingt-cinq kilomètres, au remboursement en totalité des frais de transport exposés pour un voyage par trimestre si la durée du stage est supérieure à trois mois.
