Article R6523-11 of the French Labour Code

Trainees residing in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin who, in the same department or local authority, attend a training course for which the State or region pays are entitled to :
1° reimbursement by the State or the region of all transport costs incurred at the beginning and end of the course to reach the training establishment or centre and return, provided that the distance to be covered from their home is greater than 25 km;
2° reimbursement of three quarters of the transport costs incurred to visit their family, provided that the distance to be covered is greater than 25 km, on the basis of :
a) For trainees under the age of eighteen, one journey per month;
b) For other trainees:
– if they are single, one journey if the duration of the training period is more than eight months;
– if they are married, in a civil solidarity pact, cohabiting or with family, one journey if the duration of the training period is between three and eight months and two journeys if this duration is more than eight months.

Les stagiaires résidant en Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à Mayotte, à La Réunion, à Saint-Barthélemy ou à Saint-Martin qui suivent, dans ce même département ou cette même collectivité, un stage donnant lieu à rémunération à la charge de l’Etat ou de la région ont droit :
1° Au remboursement par l’Etat ou la région de la totalité des frais de transport exposés au début et à la fin du stage pour rejoindre l’établissement ou le centre de formation et en revenir, à condition que la distance à parcourir à partir de leur domicile soit supérieure à 25 km ;
2° Au remboursement des trois quarts des frais de transport exposés pour se rendre dans leur famille, à condition que la distance à parcourir soit supérieure à 25 km, à raison :
a) Pour les stagiaires âgés de moins de dix-huit ans, d’un voyage mensuel ;
b) Pour les autres stagiaires ;
― lorsqu’ils sont célibataires, d’un voyage si la durée du stage est supérieure à huit mois ;
― lorsqu’ils sont mariés, liés par un pacte civil de solidarité, concubins ou chargés de famille, d’un voyage si la durée du stage est comprise entre trois et huit mois et de deux voyages si cette durée est supérieure à huit mois.
