Section 4: Vocational training trainees

The provisions of the first paragraph of article R. 6341-49 are applicable to trainees in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, Reunion, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin who are following a training course giving entitlement to remuneration payable by the State, region or local authority.

Trainees residing in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy or Saint-Martin who, in the same department or local authority, attend a training course for which the State or region pays are entitled to : 1° reimbursement by the State or the region of all transport costs incurred at the beginning and end of the course to reach the training establishment or centre and return, provided that the distance…

If the corresponding transport costs are not covered by the funding bodies, the Prefect may reimburse all transport costs incurred by trainees residing in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, who are following a course in mainland France for which the State or the region is responsible.
