The jury for the technical examination for judicial police officers of the national gendarmerie is composed as follows:
1° The public prosecutor at the Cour de cassation or his delegate chosen by him from among the first advocates general and advocates general at the Cour de cassation, chairman;
2° The director general of the national gendarmerie or his representative ;
3° The head of the general inspectorate of the national gendarmerie or his representative;
4° The commander of the national gendarmerie schools or his representative;
5° Active or honorary magistrates;
6° Senior officers of the national gendarmerie, no more than half of whom may be retired.
The members of the jury mentioned in 1°, 2°, 3°, 4° and 5° may be different from the members mentioned in 1°, 2°, 4°, 7° and 8° of Article R. 3.
The total number of magistrates provided for in 1° and 5° is equal to the total number of members provided for in 2°, 3°, 4° and 6°.
Magistrates and senior officers of the national gendarmerie are appointed as alternate members. The alternate member replaces the titular member before the start of the examination and for its entire duration.
The jury draws up the list of candidates who have passed the national gendarmerie judicial police officer technical examination.
In the event of a tie, the jury chairman has the casting vote.
