Article R7213-2 of the French Labour Code

Days other than Sundays and those which, by law, custom or agreement, are public holidays and must be taken as non-working days by the categories of employees mentioned in article L. 7211-2, are deemed to be working days for the purposes of calculating holiday entitlement.

Les jours autres que le dimanche et ceux qui, en application de la loi, de l’usage ou de la convention sont fériés et obligatoirement chômés par les catégories de salariés mentionnées à l’article L. 7211-2, sont réputés ouvrables pour la détermination du congé.
