Article R76 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Bulletin no. 1 is requested from the magistrate in charge of the automated national criminal record by letter, telegram, fax, teletransmission or magnetic medium, indicating the civil status of the person whose bulletin is requested, and specifying the requesting judicial authority.

If the person whose bulletin is requested is a legal entity, the request must include an indication of its name, its registration in the Répertoire national des entreprises et des établissements and its registered office. Where the legal entity is not registered, proof of its identity must be attached to the request.

On the instructions of the requesting judicial authority, bulletin no. 1 is issued in duplicate.

Le bulletin n° 1 est réclamé au magistrat chargé du casier judiciaire national automatisé par lettre, télégramme, télécopie, télétransmission ou support magnétique, indiquant l’état civil de la personne dont le bulletin est demandé, et précisant l’autorité judiciaire requérante.

Si la personne dont le bulletin est demandé est une personne morale, la demande doit comporter l’indication de sa dénomination, de son immatriculation au Répertoire national des entreprises et des établissements et de son siège. Lorsque la personne morale n’est pas immatriculée, un justificatif de son identité doit être joint à la demande.

Sur instructions de l’autorité judiciaire requérante, le bulletin n° 1 est délivré en double exemplaire.
