En cas d’absence ou d’empêchement, les membres du Conseil national élus au sein des deux collèges sont remplacés par le premier candidat disponible de la même liste le mieux placé à l’issue du scrutin.

Lorsque l’absence ou l’empêchement concerne un membre du Conseil national siégeant en qualité de président d’une compagnie régionale, le bureau de ce conseil régional désigne un suppléant appartenant au même collège que le président.
