Article R8222-3 of the French Labour Code

The injunction sent to the company in an irregular situation by the legal entity governed by public law, pursuant to the first paragraph of Article L. 8222-6, shall be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
The company given formal notice has fifteen days to respond to the public entity.

L’injonction adressée à l’entreprise en situation irrégulière par la personne morale de droit public, en application du premier alinéa de l’article L. 8222-6, est réalisée par lettre recommandée avec avis de réception.
L’entreprise mise en demeure dispose d’un délai de quinze jours pour répondre à la personne publique.
