Article 411-75 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Short-length audiovisual works are made with the assistance of shooting studios and laboratories established in France, on the territory of a Member State of the European Union or, when they are made as part of an international co-production eligible under an intergovernmental co-production agreement, on the territory of the State or States of the co-producers. This condition may be waived subject to compliance with the provisions of 2° of article 411-76.

Article 411-75

Les œuvres audiovisuelles de courte durée sont réalisées avec le concours de studios de prises de vues et de laboratoires établis en France, sur le territoire d’un Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou, lorsqu’elles sont réalisées dans le cadre d’une coproduction internationale admise au bénéfice d’un accord intergouvernemental de coproduction, sur le territoire du ou des Etats des coproducteurs. Il peut être dérogé à cette condition sous réserve du respect des dispositions du 2° de l’article 411-76.
