Article 462 of the French Customs Code

The Committee draws up an annual report for the Government and Parliament, which will be published, on the conditions under which transactions falling within the remit of the decentralised departments of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise were concluded; it carries out any investigations it deems useful in the decentralised departments of this Directorate. To this end, the administration’s agents are released from professional secrecy with regard to the members of the committee.

A decree in the Conseil d’Etat shall determine the composition and operating conditions of the Committee.

Article 462

Le comité élabore à l’intention du Gouvernement et du Parlement un rapport annuel, qui fera l’objet d’une publication, sur les conditions dans lesquelles ont été conclues les transactions relevant de la compétence des services déconcentrés de la direction générale des douanes et droits indirects ; il procède dans les services déconcentrés de cette direction aux enquêtes qu’il juge utiles. A cette fin, les agents de l’administration sont déliés du secret professionnel vis-à-vis des membres du comité.

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat fixe la composition et les conditions de fonctionnement du comité.
