The work must be the subject of production expenditure in the territory or territories of the States located in the African, Caribbean and Pacific zone in which the companies involved in the co-production are established, for an amount at least equal to the amount of the additional aid.
The following are considered as production expenses
1° Remuneration and social security contributions paid to authors, performers and directing and production staff;
2° Acquisition of artistic rights;
3° Expenditure relating to the use of technical industries and other creative service providers, relating to filming, post-production and the preparation and production of animation;
4° Transport costs for artistic and technical equipment and transport costs for artistic and technical teams that are strictly necessary for the production;
5° Insurance and financial costs;
6° Overheads, up to a limit of 10% of the amount of additional aid.
This does not include the remuneration of natural persons employed as producers, nor accommodation, catering and stage management expenses.
