Article 728-9 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

No criminal proceedings may be instituted or continued and no sentence may be enforced in respect of the same acts against a convicted person who is serving in France, pursuant to an international convention or agreement, a custodial sentence handed down by a foreign court.

Aucune poursuite pénale ne peut être exercée ou continuée et aucune condamnation ne peut être exécutée à raison des mêmes faits contre le condamné qui exécute en France, en application d’une convention ou d’un accord internationaux, une peine privative de liberté prononcée par une juridiction étrangère.
