Article A125-3 of the French Insurance Code

In municipalities that do not have a plan for the prevention of foreseeable natural risks for the risk concerned, the interministerial order declaring a state of natural disaster as provided for in article L. 125-1 specifies the number of declarations of a state of natural disaster that have occurred for the same risk over the five years preceding the date of the new declaration.

Dans les communes non dotées d’un plan de prévention des risques naturels prévisibles pour le risque concerné, l’arrêté interministériel portant constatation de l’état de catastrophe naturelle prévu à l’article L. 125-1 précise le nombre de constatations de l’état de catastrophe naturelle intervenues pour le même risque au cours des cinq années précédant la date de la nouvelle constatation.
