Article A125-4 of the French Insurance Code

With regard to cover against the risk of natural catastrophes, the amount of the fee allocated to persons authorised to offer insurance may not exceed 8% of the amount of the premium or contribution, net of all accessories and taxes relating to this cover.

However, this fee does not exclude a management commission, calculated on the basis of the work actually carried out to investigate or settle each claim.

Le montant de la rétribution allouée aux personnes habilitées à présenter des opérations d’assurance ne peut, en ce qui concerne la garantie contre les risques de catastrophes naturelles, excéder 8 % du montant de la prime ou cotisation, nette de tous accessoires et taxes afférents à cette garantie.

Toutefois, cette rétribution n’exclut pas l’attribution d’une commission de gestion, calculée en fonction des travaux effectivement réalisés pour l’instruction ou le règlement de chaque dossier de sinistre.
