Article A212-185 of the French Sports Code

For the supervision of downhill skiing and related activities, the substantial difference within the meaning of article R. 212-90-1 and 3° of article R. 212-93, likely to exist between the professional qualification of the applicant and the professional qualification required on national territory, is assessed with reference to the training for the State diploma of national ski instructor in downhill skiing, insofar as it includes:

-technical skills ;

-theoretical and practical knowledge and safety skills.

Pour l’encadrement du ski alpin et de ses activités dérivées, la différence substantielle au sens de l’article R. 212-90-1 et du 3° de l’article R. 212-93, susceptible d’exister entre la qualification professionnelle du déclarant et la qualification professionnelle requise sur le territoire national, est appréciée en référence à la formation du diplôme d’Etat de ski-moniteur national de ski alpin, en tant qu’elle intègre :

-les compétences techniques ;

-les connaissances théoriques et pratiques et les compétences en matière de sécurité.
