The aptitude test to which the Prefect may decide to subject the applicant, in whole or in part, under the conditions set out in article R. 212-90-1 and in 3° of article R. 212-93, is to verify the applicant’s ability to supervise participants safely in one of the three options A, B or C of the “parachuting” option of the BP JEPS, speciality “sports instructor” or in the “parachuting activities” option of the DE JEPS, speciality “sports development”, mentioned in article A. 212-210. For each of the three options in the first option or the second option, there are two tests:
1° A test to verify theoretical and practical knowledge of safety;
2° A technical safety test.
If the applicant is subject to both tests, the test to verify theoretical and practical knowledge of safety is assessed first. If the declarant fails, he may not take the technical safety test.
The content of the aptitude test is set out in Annex II-16-1.
