Article A212-222 of the French Sports Code

For the supervision of mountaineering through the activity of high mountain guide, the substantial difference within the meaning of article R. 212-90-1 and 3° of article R. 212-93, likely to exist between the declarant’s professional qualification and the professional qualification required on national territory, is assessed with reference to the training for the State diploma in mountaineering-high mountain guide insofar as it integrates:

-theoretical and practical knowledge of safety ;

-technical safety skills.

Pour l’encadrement de l’alpinisme par l’activité de guide de haute montagne, la différence substantielle au sens de l’article R. 212-90-1 et du 3° de l’article R. 212-93, susceptible d’exister entre la qualification professionnelle du déclarant et la qualification professionnelle requise sur le territoire national, est appréciée en référence à la formation du diplôme d’Etat d’alpinisme-guide de haute montagne en tant qu’elle intègre :


-les connaissances théoriques et pratiques en matière de sécurité ;


-les compétences techniques de sécurité.
