The aptitude test to which the Prefect may decide to subject the applicant in whole or in part, under the conditions laid down in article R. 212-90-1 and in 3° of article R. 2121-93, is intended to verify the applicant’s ability to supervise participants in safety. It consists of two tests:
1° A test to verify theoretical and practical safety knowledge;
2° A technical safety test.
If the declarant is subject to both tests, the test to verify theoretical and practical safety knowledge is assessed first. If the declarant fails, he may not take the second test.
The content of the aptitude test is set out in Annex II-16-6.
