Candidates are forbidden to have printed or handwritten documents with them, on pain of exclusion. However, they may consult codes or compendia of laws, decrees and circulars; the latter may include references to legislative or regulatory texts as well as articles of doctrine or case law decisions.
Any fraud or attempted fraud in any of the written tests will result in immediate exclusion from the examination, with no right of appeal. Without prejudice to disciplinary sanctions, the candidate may not be allowed to sit the examination in subsequent years.
