Article A761-12 of the French Commercial code

When the first part of the file is complete, the prefect informs the manager of the market of national interest of the application without delay and sends him a copy of the first part of the file, with the exception of the document mentioned in 2° of article A. 761-11.

He indicates to the manager the deadline by which the latter must inform him of the availability or otherwise of sales areas, technical premises and parking areas corresponding to the application within the market enclosure.

Article A761-12

Lorsque la première partie du dossier est complète, le préfet informe sans délai le gestionnaire du marché d’intérêt national de la demande et lui transmet une copie de la première partie du dossier, à l’exception de la pièce mentionnée au 2° de l’article A. 761-11.

Il indique au gestionnaire la date limite à laquelle celui-ci doit l’informer sur la disponibilité ou non de surfaces de vente, de locaux techniques et de surfaces de stationnement correspondant à la demande dans l’enceinte du marché.
