Article D125-3-2 of the French Insurance Code

The Commission is set up by the Minister for Civil Protection, who pays the costs of its operation and secretariat.

The commission’s secretariat is responsible in particular for communicating the report provided for in I of article L. 125-1-1 to the National Advisory Commission on Natural Disasters, to Parliament and to the Orientation Council for the Prevention of Major Natural Risks referred to in article L. 565-3 of the Environment Code.

Article D125-3-2

La commission est instituée auprès du ministre en charge de la sécurité civile qui assume les frais de son fonctionnement et son secrétariat.

Le secrétariat de la commission est chargé notamment de communiquer le rapport prévu au I de l’article L. 125-1-1 à la Commission nationale consultative des catastrophes naturelles, au Parlement et au Conseil d’orientation pour la prévention des risques naturels majeurs mentionné à l’article L. 565-3 du code de l’environnement.
