Article D224-1 of the French Sports Code

At the request of the Minister for Sport, the National Support Forum is consulted on any draft law or draft regulatory text relating to supporters or their associations, as well as on any draft European Union act or international convention relating to support.

The National Supporters’ Forum determines the topics for assessment and study relating to supporterism, which it includes in its work programme.

It puts forward any recommendations aimed at contributing to dialogue between supporters and the other players in sport, to the participation of supporters in the smooth running of sporting events and competitions and to improving the way in which they are received.

It encourages the exchange and sharing of information between the parties concerned. To this end, it is informed of the list of people responsible for relations with supporters within each discipline managed by a professional league.

Each year, it submits an activity report to the Minister for Sport, outlining the body’s contribution and that of the various players involved in sport, including the National Division to Combat Hooliganism, on the subject of supporterism.

A la demande du ministre chargé des sports, l’Instance nationale du supportérisme est consultée sur tout projet de loi ou projet de texte réglementaire relatif aux supporters ou à leurs associations ainsi que sur tout projet d’acte de l’Union européenne ou de convention internationale se rapportant au supportérisme.

L’Instance nationale du supportérisme détermine les thèmes d’évaluation et d’étude relatifs au supportérisme qu’elle inscrit à son programme de travail.

Elle propose toute recommandation visant à contribuer au dialogue entre les supporters et les autres acteurs du sport, à la participation des supporters au bon déroulement des manifestations et compétitions sportives et à l’amélioration de leur accueil.

Elle veille à favoriser les échanges et le partage d’informations entre les acteurs concernés. A ce titre, elle a connaissance de la liste des personnes référentes chargées des relations avec les supporters au sein de chaque discipline gérée par une ligue professionnelle.

Elle présente chaque année au ministre chargé des sports un rapport d’activité qui retrace la contribution de l’instance et celle des différents acteurs du sport, dont la Division nationale de lutte contre le hooliganisme, sur le supportérisme.
