At the entrance to the premises where the public is received to make a request for maintenance or repair, the professional, mentioned in Article L. 224-111, informs the consumer of the possibility of opting to use parts from the circular economy, as defined in Article R. 224-50, by means of a clear, visible and legible display from the outside.
This display specifies the categories of parts concerned by category of equipment and the fact that the professional is not obliged to offer them in the cases provided for by Article R. 224-51.
This same information appears, if the trader has it, on his online interface.
If the maintenance or repair service is provided at the place where the equipment concerned is used, without the consumer first visiting the trader’s premises, the latter shall provide this information clearly, visibly and legibly on a durable medium, within the meaning of Article 8° of the introductory article of the legislative part of the Consumer Code, prior to the conclusion of the service contract.
