The association or foundation acting in the name and on behalf of a natural person shall specify to the latter the documents required to exercise the right to an account with the Banque de France, as referred to in III of article L. 312-1. It also informs the applicant that the credit institution designated by the Banque de France will examine the supporting documents required and may ask the applicant to provide additional information and documents in application of its obligations in terms of knowing the customer, in particular with regard to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
The persons authorised to act on behalf of the association or foundation complete an application form for the exercise of the right to an account signed by the applicant and ensure that the documents provided by the applicant correspond to those required. They send the complete application to the Banque de France the same day.
The associations and foundations act in the name and on behalf of the applicant, without any contribution from the applicant.
